Data collected
The type of data collected by this application itself or through third parties includes: cookies, usage data, first name, surname, email address, language, user's organisation, user's position, mailing group (e.g. member of a working group organised by the BDF or a working group in which he/she participates on behalf of the BDF, media, parliament, etc.).
The BDF processes the User's personal data exclusively within the framework of its tasks as defined by the Royal Decree of the BDF and undertakes to comply with all applicable privacy protection legislation in the performance of all its tasks, as defined in the BDF's articles of association.
The BDF is responsible for the personal data of third parties obtained, published or shared by this application.

Legal basis for processing
The BDF may process the User's personal data if:
- The User has given his/her consent for one or more specific purposes;
- The processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation incumbent on the BDF.
The BDF is always willing to clarify the specific legal basis that applies to the processing.
Retention period
Personal data collected for purposes related to the performance of an agreement between the BDF and the User will be retained until this agreement has been fully performed.
Purpose of processing
Personal data is collected for the following purposes:
- Invitation to meetings;
- Disseminating information via newsletters;
- Contact with the User.
By filling in the contact form with his/her details, the User gives this application permission to use this data to send information.
Rights
In carrying out the tasks and assignments assigned to it, the BDF must comply with the law. Within the limits of that law, the User has the right to:

- request the deletion or modification of his/her data.

System logs, maintenance and cookies
When visiting ph.belgium.be, the BDF records information about the pages visited, the IP address and the browser type of the User in log files. This information is recorded solely for the purpose of statistical analysis of visitor numbers and web traffic, to better tailor the information and services offered to the User's needs and to monitor the proper functioning, speed and integrity of the site.
The site uses cookies. These are small information files that are automatically stored on the hard drive of the User's computer. This information makes everything run faster and more efficiently the next time the site is visited. If the use of cookies is disabled in the browser, the BDF cannot guarantee the correct functioning of its site.

The BDF is a non-profit organisation that brings together 18 associations representing the interests of persons with disabilities.
