Dear Madam, Sir,
On behalf of the Fundamental Rights Research Centre (VUB), I am pleased to invite you to the FAIR Final International Seminar, entitled: “How to use and communicate the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights”.
The FAIR project (Fostering Awareness, Inclusion, and Recognition) is a European project dedicated to strengthening the protection of fundamental rights by improving the way the EU Charter is understood and applied across Member States. As the project reaches its conclusion, this seminar serves as a key platform to share our findings and discuss the future of fundamental rights implementation in Europe.
The event will take place on 10 February 2026, from 8:45 to 14:30, at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB).
Why attend? This seminar is designed for stakeholders, policy-makers, and civil society members interested in the practical application of the EU Charter. The day will feature:
- A keynote address by a representative from the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA).
- A presentation of the key results and tools developed during the FAIR project.
- Expert panel discussions and interactive sessions on the challenges and future pathways for the effective use of the Charter.
You can view the complete final programme and the full list of speakers here.
