ICESCR - International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights
The International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights was adopted on 16 December 1966 by the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York. After its ratification by thirty-five States it came into force on 3 January 1976.
The International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights contains some of the most important international legal provisions establishing economic, social and cultural rights.
